I am particularly fond of: "showcasing on the outside the passionate and genuine woman that is inside." You brought it home with “feeling overwhelmed” attributed to how you dressed. Personally, when I am not spiritually and emotionally sound, there is no care taken in my appearance. Sometimes, which is very seldom, getting what I call "dolled up" is to hide behind the attire, although my eyes hold the truth, of what a mess I really am. As I grow wiser with age, I have learned to do it all for me. I stop in front of full bodied mirror every morning before leaving home and salute MYSELF with, "You are beautiful inside and out today, count your blessings and find joy in being able to display your glory 6 feet above ground." I walk into my job like they are paying me millions versus pennies. I get hater eyes and frowns from some co-workers, and a sarcastic, “you look cute ‘today’.” Instead of a polite “thank you,” I want to retort with, “I look cute ‘everyday’ and it is not for your compliments, but for me and to say how good I feel about me, try it sometimes.” Awesome read!
