DJ Flash Gordon Parks explores the sounds of Reuben Wilson, one of many soul-jazz organists to emerge in the late ’60s. The mix is a collection of songs that span from 1968 to 1974. Wilson is a true master of the B-3 Hammond Organ whose records didn’t receive much acknowledgment at the time, but they were later rediscovered by a new generation of soul-jazz fans, becoming collector’s items within “acid jazz” and soul-jazz revivalist circles…..Enjoy!
