Interns Responsibilities
The Peace Uv Mine Internship program consists of three entities: Marketing/Promotions, Business, and the Arts/Media/Design group.
1. Marketing/Promotions
The Marketing Team will contribute significantly to the growth of Peace Uv Mine. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to jumpstart his/her career in marketing, promotions or sales. The Marketing/Promotions Team will:
- Promote at High Schools, Colleges, Shows, and Clubs.
- Research and contact radio stations about getting artist spins and airtime.
- Research and contact magazines about getting interviews for artists.
- Research and contact online sites about making products available for purchase.
- Research and contact video outlets about getting our artist videos played.
- Manage merchandise sells at Peace Uv Mine events, shows, and outings.
- Create Press Packages for promotion of label artists.
Qualifications
* Highly motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to handle multiple projects at once
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Detail orientation with strong organization and project management skills
* Entrepreneurial spirit, with a genuine interest in music and entertainment
* Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees
* Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
* College Sophomore or above
2. Business Development
The business team is a unique opportunity for business savvy individuals to get hands-on experience with the logistics of managing up and coming groups. The Business Development team will:
- Identify music grants, donations, endorsements and unique ways to build new capital.
- Research local venues, contact, and book shows and/or appearances.
- Contact High Schools and Colleges and book shows and/or appearances.
- Book national shows and/or appearances.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Detail orientation with strong organization and project management skills
* Entrepreneurial spirit, with a genuine interest in music and entertainment
* Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees
* Accounting, Management, or business majors a plus
3. Arts/Media/Design
The arts, media, and design group will help grow the Peace Uv Mine Brand through electronic and print media. This group will work closely with the marketing team to identify fresh ideas for the look and feel of Peace Uv Mine. The Arts, Media, and Design Group will:
- Design Flyers, Banners, Stickers, Clothing, and other merchandise.
- Design, maintain, and update info on websites and social networks (Facebook, Myspace, etc).
- Identify new opportunities for branding.
- Conduct brand market research on other labels processes.
