Born and raised in Hueston, TX, FocuseD began to develop his interest in music in elementary school.  His love for the art of musicianship and songwriting continued through his formative years as he added djing to his repertoire at 16.  FocuseD’s passion also manifests through his community involvement.  In 2006, he held annual food and clothing drives through the community organization, Brothers and Sisters of the Revolution.  These outreach projects promoted black and brown unity in our neighborhoods. 

In 2007, FocuseD began his work as a Street Team member for Peace Uv Mine.  His work in tirelessly promoting all that is PUM resulted in his appointment to Director of Publicity and Radio for the label in 2008.  He is the Minister of Cultural Affairs from www.peaceuvmine.com, sharing his innovative ideas and vast knowledge of opportunities to  improve our communities.
