King Midas, born in 24K Island, TX, “Everything he touches turns to gold”
As youngster Midas was known for taking sounds and putting them together to form golden beats. Legend tells it that a crate of records were found by a group of MC’s that were brought to the King. For weeks the King Locked
himself in a room cutting and choppin. When he let himself out and played
tracks for the MC’s on the Island they were all amazed how golden the sound
was. This is when the King realized he had the power to turn everything he touched into gold. After this realization The King vowed to paint the streets with his golden sound…All Hale the King…
